Traffic was snarled for a short time on Maine Street Wednesday morning after a car drove under a large box truck turning to access a restaurant parking lot near Fort Andross.

The incident was reported to police at 10:35 a.m. on Maine Street by Frontier Cafe, which is located in Fort Andross.

Brunswick Deputy Police Chief Marc Hagan said a 2004 Freightliner truck driven by Andrew Latham, 22, of South Portland, was headed south on Maine Street and began making a wide righthand turn into the parking lot of Frontier Cafe, when a 2003 Saab, also traveling south, drove into the truck. The Saab was driven by Garrett Erb, 19, of Brunswick, who suffered abrasions and complained of pain after the crash but was not transported. Latham, who was making a delivery, was not injured.

No charges were issued.
